The acupressure therapist will treat a person from 15 minutes to an hour depending o n the severity of the problem. This treatment can be done by making the person sit, stand or in a lying position mostly with your clothing on. Depending on the pain and your condition they will work on the specific acupoints for 3 seconds to one minute.

DO not think that the pain will vanish the next moment you apply pressure, No it will take few days after the pressure is applied for the body to activate the body energies and fight the problem. In few cases however the problem may be solved immediately. But others should visit the therapist for few days treatment may be 3 to a weekday. After each treatment one will feel loose, relaxed and experience a slight ache.

One can try to do acupressure on yourself but visit an acupressure practitioner for initial two visits and if the problem is minor you can try at home. But if it is a chronic Medical problem see your doctor and learn the points they are working on you and try them.
