Introduction

Fasting is known as the single greatest natural healing therapy. It is nature's ancient, universal "remedy" for many problems. Even animals instinctively fast when ill. Fasting will help to balance your system, and give you a sense of well-being, increase your energy, and clarity of thought.

Fasting will put you in touch with your body's own intelligence and innate healing mechanisms. Fasting is the greatest remedy a safe and effective approach for healing.

There are modified fasts such as a juice fast, i.e., consuming fruit and/or vegetable juices, or a fruit fast, eating raw fruits. Some of you might think what if I just eat a piece of fruit, bread slice or a small juice, and say you are on fast -well this is not called fasting.
Why Fasting?

Fasting is known to be a time-proven remedy and its use goes back many thousands of years. As a healing process and spiritual-religious process, it has continued to be more intelligently applied, in the last several thousand years.

The simple reason for fasting allows us to gain control of the appetite. When we can develop the discipline to fast, we automatically develop the discipline not to overeat. When you can control your strongest appetite - the desire for food, you can then gain control of the other body or flesh appetites.
