The first step is to de-clutter the space so that the energy can move freely.

What is Clutter?

Clutter is the disorganized way things are laid on the floor, work spaces, tables etc. It is Things that are untidy or disorganized or too many things in a small space, things that you may not like, or use. So get rid of items that no longer serve a purpose-old books, seldom-worn clothes, broken furniture, and the like. Move out the old to make room for the new. Replace or repair broken glass panes, and clean the windows, repair leaky and clogged drains. Every area that gets de-cluttered means a greater range of movement for the Chi.

Next, if you have indoor plants, trim them that they grow nicely, remove dead leaves and dust on the leaves, if you have a garden clear away overgrown plants and trim tree branches that might block the view. This is where the Chi enters your home, and any kind of obstruction in this area inhibits the flow of fresh, new energy. A clear view is essential to good Feng Shui.

IF you have things that we a gift from someone but you don't like it, or sometimes you have spent more to buy it and cannot find a way to get rid of it, These items called the old stuff are to be cleared as you will be using huge amounts of energy in the body.

Do not keep saving items for future as this keeps chi energy around stagnate that is not good for your life.

Walk through each room before starting, and take a note of things to do and what you need to get rid of.

Clutter cleaning is not just dusting the tops, do not forget to clean under beds, cupboards closets, bathroom cabinet, your computer and stereos, as they have lots of dust on them.

Spoilt Food in the refrigerator is also another area to watch out for clutter.

Books- Books lying in shelves also represent clutter. You can always donate your old books to friends, but if you are a book lover and love to have them, place them in the right racks and dust them frequently, Burn some incense sticks or candles for clear energy.

Don't leave pictures of family, friends loose in draws, put them in albums. The framed photos can be hung on the walls.

Do not throw things and stuff things under the beds. Leave coffee mugs, water glasses here and there.

Clutter in cars, motor bikes, children's cycles is common; do get rid of them by cleaning them.'

Office tables, is one place where you find lots of clutter, you may be too busy to clean your table, but take time on the weekends to clear your trays and table, as A healthy flow of energy brings more business. Try to have an organized system for papers and other needed items.

Don't forget to clean your pockets, purses, hand bags, and carry only the items you require.

Don't be lazy to Empty daily garbage cans. They are bad for health and also leave a bad energy in the home.

After setting your house, walk through several times and your intuition will tell you where things need changes or if it is satisfactory for your heart. This will help flow of positive energy.
