The most basic rule regarding health is to make your home
healthy. Keep your home/workplace in good, functioning condition.
Keeping it clean, organized and beautiful is the best way
to attract positive healthy 'chi' into your home.
The energy in your home needs to be free-flowing and smooth
like a river. Replace and repair anything that is old, broken
or faded, take care of peeling paint, cracked walls and ceilings
and leaky faucets.
Get rid of old things in your home or workplace that you no
longer use. Work towards eliminating all clutter from your
life. Pass things along to friends or donate them to charity.
Keep your bedroom clean. As we spend lots of our time in our
bedroom, cluttered bedrooms is particularly harmful, Keep
bedroom décor sparse and simple, and eliminate anything necessary.
Keep Laptops, phones and exercise equipments out of bedroom.
Do not work in the bedroom.
Next connecting to your bedrooms are your toilets. Always
keep toilets and bathrooms exceptionally clean. Keep the lid
on the toilet closed at all times when not in use, and keep
the bathroom door closed at all times.
Be sure that all doors, of your building, draws, windows,
are in good working condition. There should be no sounds when
you open or shut them.
Electronic devices such as TVs, clock radios, answering machines,
and electric blankets emit electromagnetic fields that can
harm your health. Keep them out of the bedrooms but if you
must keep them in the bedroom, place them at least six feet
away from your body, or twelve feet, in the case of a TV.
Always cover the TV with a cloth when it is not in use, especially
while you sleep. You can place a Lilly or cactus near these
electric items to counter radiation.
Never place your bed on a wall that has a toilet on the other
side. This is considered a health hazard in Feng Shui. Do
not place a fountain or plants in the bedroom.
Do not sleep facing a mirror. The water element of the mirror
will cause ill health.
