bedrooms or in the children's rooms. The best location is living
room.

Flowing or moving water also increases negative ions in the

because the water they live is equated with wealth.
The Chinese word for `fish' (yu) means `abundance
or affluence'. So fish symbolizes wealth. `Gold'
as in Goldfish symbolizes (jin) in abundance (yu).
Fish is a symbol for happiness, serenity, wealth,
abundance. It is believed that fish sleep with their
eyes open and do not allow bad energies. Fish in
home, offices mean life which means chi is generated
always. It attracts good luck.
Many geomancers recommend placing fish tanks in
a home to symbolize good fortune. It is not advisable
for a person with the fire element to own an aquarium
to help balance the `Fire' element. It is also believed
that a tank of goldfish can be placed at an inauspicious
place to ward off bad influences. |

A pair of Fish together signifies
marital harmony, but due to few reasons it is restricted in
bedrooms.
The fish is one of the eight Buddhist Holy symbols. Fish tank
placed suitably brings wealth to the house. But not everyone
is suited to have an aquarium to promote his/her business.
The best location for placing the fish tank is in the North
wall or along the South East wall. Do not place along the south
of the building. Place it at the entrance to your home. In the
office place it at the reception or the executives' room. Replace
fish wherever they die. If you cannot take care of them, do
not place in the wealth corner.
All varieties of fish are good. Avoid fighters and angel fish.
Fish should be kept in ODD Numbers. Odd numbers are Yang. You
should have 9 fish a lucky number
The best shape for an aquarium is Rectangular, circular or bowl
type. The Carp and Perch are often seen in paintings and art
pieces. The goldfish is another favorite fish found in paintings.
A pair of fish swimming together signifies marital harmony and
a good symbol for newly wed.
Avoid placing an aquarium in any bedroom or in the kitchen.
Generally, it should be placed in the living or sitting room.
