Tips for Pregnant women in travel

 

Pregnant women should be more careful while travelling. Normally it is not advised to travel by any means in the first three months. People who are prone to miscarriages should be extra careful. Travel by bus, car, or flight in the last stage after the 8 th month is not good for the mother and fetus. It is also not advisable to travel long until 7 days after delivery.

During the other months, the pregnant woman should be careful in her travel. She should wear loose clothes and drink enough fluids.
She should try to move around or get up to stretch once a while if on a flight.
If driving stop to stand up and stretch for few minutes.
Always have someone besides you who can help you if required while travelling.
Eat fruits and drink juices or water.
Try to get fresh air as possible.
Carry all your medical files to be safe if any emergency arises.
